CONTRIBUTE TO CHARITY
As a non-profit, 100% of our revenue goes towards local, national, and international charities aimed at helping the under privileged in various ways such as education, family support, etc. So far, we have raised a total of nearly $3000!
In order to make a significant impact on rural education, we need YOUR help of reaching our goal of ($4,000) by the end of 2021. Please spread the word about our organization in order to help both our kids learn about public speaking and simultaneously change the lives and education of similar aged children across seas.
ORCHID'S GIVING CIRCLE
From the proceeds of our first camp in summer 2019, we have donated $400 for those in need through the Orchid’s Giving Circle, a branch of the Texas Women's Foundation. The TWF invests in the economic security of women and girls not only nationally, but globally. Find out more about the organization here.
THE MALALA FOUNDATION
From part of the proceeds from the 2020 summer S.P.E.A.C. camp, we donated over $700 to the Malala Fund, particularly to help schools cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Malala Fund's COVID-19 initiative helps girls around the world continue their studies, from increasing access to distance learning to shaping the global response to education. LOCAL UNDERFUNDED SCHOOL DISTRICT: DALLAS ISD
As the nearest urban metroplex to where S.P.E.A.C. was created, the underfunding of Dallas ISD is a very local and pressing issue that we hope to lend our hand in. From part of our 2020 and 2021 proceeds, we are currently in the process of donating $1800 to aid COVID-19 relief measures. Learn more about Dallas ISD here.
