SNEHA POSANIPALLY
Founder, Head of Communications, Instructor
Sneha is a senior at Independence High School who has been rigorously competing in Speech and Debate events for the past 5 years. For the past two years, she has been an active member of the Jasper Speech and Debate program and she advanced to various final rounds in several tournaments, received 4th place at the District tournament, earned a Texas Forensic Association qualification, and was the first alternate runner up for the National Speech and Debate Association in her district. Additionally, she served on the Jasper Speech and Debate leadership team in her sophomore year as one of the Public Forum captains which gave her the unique opportunity to serve as a mentor to several of her peers.
In her free time, Sneha loves to play games/ watch movies with her family, practice driving, listen to songs, and bake. She can't wait to spread her passion and love for public speaking to younger kids!
SUMEDHA GONUR
Founder, Head of Graphic Design, Instructor
Sumedha is a senior at Plano Senior High School who intends to major in interdisciplinary fields involving computer science and/or business. She is a semifinalist for the national merit scholarship and is an AP Scholar with Distinction. Expression is a major goal that Sumedha strives for, and she accomplishes it through art, linguistics, and SPEAC. As the president of her school's chapter of Work of Art Community and an IAHV Mindfulness Ambassador, she has learned many things about public speaking in real-life settings and hopes to teach SPEAC students the tips she has acquired.
She enjoys designing websites, animating, listening to music, and cooking with her family. She is super excited to be a part of SPEAC again this year and hopes to inspire more children to become more comfortable with public speaking.
GENNA IBARRA
Growth Manager, Instructor
As a freshman in the Plano East Senior High IB program, Genna has been doing speech and debate all through middle school. She has held multiple leadership positions, including president of student council, president of choir, and prior to that, Vice President and Treasurer in 7th and 5th grade, respectively. She has gained many leadership skills and learned how to manage a team in order to be productive. Â In her free time, she watches her favorite show Parks and Recreation.
