FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SHY OF SPEAKING/NOT COMFORTABLE WITH PUBLIC SPEAKING?
The purpose of our camp is to change that and to give them the skills they need to be a successful public speaker. If your child is feeling shy or scared of speaking, we will try our best to encourage them to speak as much as they can in the class with a system of reward points for participation and we will also be calling on students when we notice their lack of participation.
WHAT AGES CAN ATTEND WORKSHOPS?
Starting from Fall 2020, we are splitting our workshops into 2 groups based on age/experience. The first group will be for beginners to public speaking or younger kids (elementary) who would have a harder time keeping up with a fast paced and intensive curriculum. This batch will focus on allowing the kids to dip their toes into the world of public speaking and will involve a lot of games and fun activities. The second group will be for more advanced kids/older kids (middle school) who can stay focused for more time and are more independent workers. This batch will focus on the details of some varieties of public speaking, research, and presentation skills. Contact us for more information!

HOW WILL WORKSHOPS OPERATE DURING COVID-19?
For the time being, our workshops are being held through zoom, and all activities will be virtual.
CAN MY STUDENT STILL ATTEND WORKSHOPS IF WE DON'T LIVE IN TEXAS?
Yes! Since our workshops are being held virtually this year, we are accepting students from all over the nation! For our last workshop, we had students from across the United States!

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH S.P.E.A.C.?
We always try our best to grow and improve so that SPEAC members can have the best possible experience! If there is any feedback you would like to give us, please don't hesitate to contact us! At the end of each course we provide a feedback form as well, so that you can rate us on how well we did, so that we can improve in the future. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your payment after classes have started. If you would like to withdraw your child from the program previous to it starting, we will refund your payment fully.
