SPEAC 2019

In 2019, SPEAC had its first ever summer program, where students attended classes over the span of 2 months and learned the basics of speech and debate events such as storytelling, reader's theatre, and public forum debate.
At the end of the program, the students had their first impression of a speech tournament, getting exposure to the world of speech and debate that awaited them in the future.
Although many kids came into the program being timid and afraid to participate, they all ended with successful presentation skills that they would be able to use for the rest of their lives.
